Davis Law’s CEO Marshal Davis spoke at the 20th Quarterly IQnection Nonprofit Summit on October 23, 2014, in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. He spoke about how you can protect your organization and maintain its books and records according to state nonprofit law, IRS 501(c)(3) rules, best practices, and so that your nonprofits can be presented accurately and look good to grant makers. Marshal also discussed nonprofit law and documentation as it relates to seeking grants for your organization.
Mr. Davis brings a unique perspective to advising nonprofits. Not only does he have experience with nonprofit clients of various sizes and missions – from idea through start-up through operations through dissolution – but he also has experience serving on various nonprofit boards, volunteering as an officer of nonprofits, grant writing, and leading the management and operation of large scale local, regional, and national events.
